Previously serving as deputy director of the cybersecurity division of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japanese government, Akinori Kahata is now a graduate student of George Washington University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), and working on the research about Cybersecurity Risk Analysis with Considering of Cascading Effect.
In the near future, everything will connect, and the damage of cyberattacks will affect society over an organization. To mitigate the damage of the risk, evaluation of the risk is essential, and the research will contribute to the evaluation.
